Leadership for Consultants
by Robin F. Goldsmith, JD
Do you need to cause change? Of course you do, and you know change is hard. Change takes leadership, and effective leaders are rare. Leaders make others want to do what the leader wants done. Leaders cause ordinary people to achieve extraordinary things. Managing is not the same as leading, and titles do not make leaders. Traditional training about leadership helps but does not suffice to make you a leader. In this interactive presentation, long-time CNET member Robin Goldsmith describes needed leadership behaviors and the special mini-clinic techniques to develop them that participants learn in his December 16 IEEE Boston seminar ”Making You a Leader--FastTrack.”
- Leadership characteristics and practices that are essential for project and personal success
- Why leadership is developed, not trained
- How a mini-clinic employs special techniques to develop the leadership skills you need for success
